Celebrating All Superhumans

We’re here to celebrate and elevate womxn in sports, period. This month and every month, we’re celebrating the superhumans in our world who use their power, their platform, and their privilege to advocate for others. Representation matters in the fight for equality, and we’re proud to have built our community on a foundation of acceptance and a belief that every womxn deserves to play the game they love.

So, what exactly is a “superhuman?” Simply put, a superhuman is anyone who participates in the fight for equality, is an active ally to their community, and advocates for justice in all forms. They are not defined by orientation or expression, but rather their commitment to the inclusion and encouragement of those around them. Inspired by the theme of this year’s NYC Pride Month, “The Fight Continues,” our celebration of “superhumans” highlights athletes who choose to take part in something bigger than themselves in order to fight towards the greater good. 

“The Fight Continues” is a theme that encompasses all of the battles we have fought as a country, ranging from police brutality, to climate disasters, to the rights of the LGBTQI+ community being questioned at the Supreme Court level. Read more about the story behind NYC Pride Month here.

We’re partnering with Athlete Ally this month to bring you our latest T-shirt: The Superhuman Tee. This collab is built on a shared belief that everyone should have equal access, opportunity, and experience in sports -- regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Giving visibility to all athletes normalizes self-expression and fosters a safe community for young athletes in the LGBTQI+ community to live their truth. 50% of all proceeds from The Superhuman Tee will go directly back to Athlete Ally in support of LGBTQI+ athletes.
